Jayne Dyer lives and works in Lisbon and Porto, Portugal. Her practice involves transdisciplinary text, object, photographic and video installations navigating between perception and behaviour, rupture, and reparation.
Jayne Dyer’s first visit to China in 1992 followed by Asialink residency (1995) cemented her ongoing connection with China. In Beijing (2007-2014), Jayne Dyer was as Academic Head in the Central Academy of Fine Art international foundation program and occasional consultant for Red Gate Gallery. Jayne Dyer’s works have been collected by public institutions across Australia and internationally, including the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra; Sydney Living Museums, Sydney; Artbank, Australia; Australian Embassy, Beijing; and Mandarin Oriental, Macau.
