Enhancements at Vermilion Art

Vermilion Art today announced enhancements to its structure and leadership. Aileen Moka has joined the gallery as Co-Director of Vermilion Art.

A business leader with 20 years of experience and equipped with a Master’s degree in Cultural Leadership and Curation (MCCL), Aileen begins her new role in October 2024. She will continue to expand Vermilion Art’s dynamic activities. Together with Dr. Yeqin Zuo, they will further develop the gallery’s acclaimed program while continuing to foster relationships with leading artists, collectors, and museums.

Dr. Yeqin Zuo commented, “I have known Aileen for several years and have always been impressed by her incredible energy and dedication. Her arrival at the gallery marks a significant development. The combination of her extensive commercial experience and art leadership skills complements Vermilion Art’s longstanding commitment to contemporary Chinese art since 2015.”

Aileen stated, “I feel honored and excited to be joining forces with Yeqin, who founded the first gallery specialising in contemporary Chinese art in Australia. I have the utmost respect for Yeqin and the Vermilion Art team. Their expertise and dedication to art are extraordinary. Together with other new members and the current team, we look forward to achieving new heights.”

An expanded Vermilion Art 2025 Program will be announced later this year, featuring new artist representations and innovative programs.
