“When I learn to be alone in the wilderness, it seems that I own nothing, yet I have everything.” – Hua-Chen Huang
In Wilderness is a series of recollected experiences preserved from the artist’s journey. Hua-Chen in these new works has fully embraced the present. The natural landscapes she produces reflect the blissfulness she has found in the wilderness. In Wilderness is her story about walking to freedom.

She graduated from Taipei National University of the Arts in 2009 and also completed her M.F.A there in 2013 with a major in painting.
