In the year that marks the 50th anniversary of the moon landings, Sydney artist Tim Johnson has looked to the skies for inspiration. The result is UFOs Per Se 2, a series of 44 small canvases that depict unidentified flying objects – some based on descriptions of sightings, others from his imagination – and UFO-related objects.
Johnson says: “As an artist I found that wondering what an alien presence might experience on Earth offered an interesting new perspective and that an extraterrestrial view of the universe could extend the concept of landscape.
