Peng Yong (b.1984, Hunan, China) is an outstanding young artist specialising in contemporary printmaking and painting. He was trained at Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA). He lives and works in Beijing and Tianjin. He currently teaches at the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts.
Peng Yong was the first TWT International Residency artist in 2018. He was the prestigious Sovereign Asian Art Prize finalist in 2017. He was also the winner of the Sino-French Prix Yishu 8 Award in 2014, a privileged Sino-France culture and art program. His works are in the institutional collection of the Central Academy of Fine Arts Museum, China; China Engraving Art Museum, China; Fondation d’entreprise Hermès, France; University of New South Wales Art & Design, Australia; and other corporate and important private collections in China, France, Switzerland, the United States, South Korea, Singapore, Australia, etc.
